RecOps On Demand was founded by Laura Holcombe, a Recruitment Operations consultant and certified Ashby Expert with over six years’ experience helping high-growth technology companies build scalable hiring infrastructure.
Laura specialises in designing recruitment operations that enable teams to hire efficiently as they scale — combining hiring process design, reporting, systems architecture, and enablement to create structured, high-performing hiring environments.
Her experience spans end-to-end Ashby implementations, recruitment process redesign, hiring analytics, interviewer frameworks, and reporting transformation across startup, scale-up, and enterprise organisations.

Laura begins her career in recruitment
Laura began her recruitment career as employee number two at a boutique recruitment agency serving global B2B SaaS clients.
2021
First in-house Talent Acquisition role
Laura moved into her first in-house Talent Acquisition role at a Series B B2B SaaS startup experiencing hypergrowth. In this role, she was part of a team that drove 300% headcount growth in just 9 months.
2022
First Ashby implementation
Laura led her first Ashby implementation while building the Talent function at a fast-growing AI company.
2023
Certified Ashby Expert
Laura was invited by Ashby to join the Ashby Experts program.

Drawing on years of experience building and optimising hiring systems in fast-growing environments, Laura founded RecOps On Demand to help organisations improve recruitment operations through scalable process, better reporting, and specialist Ashby expertise. Since launch, the business has supported startups, scale-ups, and enterprise organisations to design and optimise hiring infrastructure that scales.
